Stayed 3 nights in a pull thru. No trees to worry about hitting the fifth wheel. Nice park. Is close to gas station, bank and Walmart which was nice. Fort Cody is right around the corner and free to go through. Restaurants are close by. Garbage can was a bit of a walk from our site. Didn't use facilities. Walked by the pool looked nice. Even though it's not far from highway didn't notice any noise. Doggy groomer is right next door. Would stay here again.
Pool is locked. Showers outdated with little pressure. Dog park is a ditch next to the highway. Staff is rude and owner was inebriated and rude to people. Do not stay here
Crowded very narrow sites and very little grass at site. The pet area was my biggest complaint. It is located in in the bottom of a ditch near a busy hi way. I'm 65 years old and walking my dogs in the bottom of a ditch is out of the question.
We stopped over during the COVID19 period so there was contactless registration but everything was nicely done. Sites were nice and level and the gravel roads and sites were fine. We didn't check out the RR so I didn't rate those. The registration process was set up in a little phone booth area which was nice for a break from the cold winds.
This is an older park. It is well maintained and comfortable. Internet was good, a little spotty at times but fairly good. We would stay there again.
Just off I-90. Mature park with gravel roads and closely spaced sites that are just big enough for todays larger rigs but don't give much extra room after slides and awnings are extended. Center of park is mostly shaded pull thrus focused on overnight and shorts stays. Perimeter seemed to have back-in long term residents. All FHU utilities worked fine, but trees blocked sat reception. There is a small pool, but it was locked. Didn't use the shower/bathhouse. Stayed 4 nights to explore local... Read More

Stayed 4 nights to explore local area over Memorial Day weekend. N. Platte is a small rail/cattle town whose main claim to fame is the home to Buffalo Bill Cody. His home, Scouts Rest, is a nicely preserved state park. Large touristy Wild Bill Trading Post within walking distance (if you must). Cool old time diner next door (Penny's) with solid midwestern large portions. Stuhr Pioneer museum is worth a visit with a nice indoor museum and "live" recreated pioneer town complete with residents. Went to the local rodeo to watch a bull riding competition. Super nice patriotic crowd. Pro-tip.do NOT wear anything but jeans and T-shirt if you want to blend. Actually some "wine tasting" in the area at Feather River Winery although you seriously need a 4x4 to traverse the 2 mile dirt road if there has been any rain.

Very convenient Rv park off the highway. The pool was very nice and my kids enjoyed the 8ft deep end of the pool shaped like the state. Check in was very easy and front desk ladies were nice. It was no problem extending our stay one day beyond our original reservation of one night. We requested a shady pull thru spot when we made the reservation and that's what we got. Connections were good and cable tv worked. The park is laid out very well and noticed there were a lot of overnight stays as... Read More

Connections were good and cable tv worked. The park is laid out very well and noticed there were a lot of overnight stays as the next morning park was mostly cleared out only to be filled again the next night. Also, the park wasn't too noisy being right off the highway. The only thing I can comment negatively about is the outdated bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms are clean just outdated and shower areas are small. We enjoyed the Lincoln County Museum and the Golden Spike tower. A lot to do in this town with your kids if you're staying more than one right.

This was our second stay at Holiday. The check in process is easy and the lady in the office is very nice. We did not use the pool this time as the water was very cold. Unfortunately, it was that time of year when the Cottonwood trees are shedding their seeds and the place was covered in white cottonwood seeds. It is a good spot for an overnight stop. They really need to fence in an area of dogs. There are plenty of sites where a decent size off-leash park could be placed.
Check-in was easy, and the lady at reception was very friendly and gave us some tips on local eateries, to include a discount at a grill up the road. Park is very attractive with lots of shade trees and character that make it very inviting and comfortable. Site was fairly level and hookups were easily accessible. Didn't utilize the pool, but it was large and appeared to be well maintained. The park was clean, although the restrooms/showers were dated and detracted from the parks overall appeal.... Read More

Great campground. Excellant restrooms. Nice employees. Roads and sites had plenty of room to maneuver my 35 ft 5th wheel in and out. Lots of shade and grass.
Very nice people greet you upon arrival. It is a pleasant park with nice shade trees. We happened to be there when the Cottonwood trees were "snowing" and the seeds were everywhere. If you need internet you're in luck! We were parked right next to a hot spot and it was terrific! There is no dog park and the dog walking area is right along the frontage road. Our pull-through was gravel and level. There is no pool or other amenities. Nice park, nice people - good for overnight!
We stayed three days. Very nice staff. Wide and long pull thru, Good cable, Good Elec service. If you have a caterpillar engine there is a repair shop (NMC) a couple miles from park. I had a service done the employees were great. I will stay here on return trip.
Easy access, nice pool, gravel sites, but they are smooth and level. A lot of mature trees giving great shade! Good wi-fi, and lots of cable channels (some a little weak signal). We stayed a night and would definitely stop here again.
Right off highway 83 and I-80, a bit noisy but not bad. Lots of trees; all sites are gravel and level. The bathrooms are very clean and the only thing I did not like was the showers they are too small; the shower in my MH has more space in and that is not much. The campground is close to shopping and the sites in North Platte SD. I would stay here the next time I am in the area.
We stayed a few days Mar 2016 without water hookup but they had water available and the restrooms were very clean always. We also stayed the first part of April while they were turning water on and enjoyed a few more days at the park. Still being chilly, Not much green grass or trees to comment on which does affect my appeal rating. Nice play area for the kids. Camp host is very nice.
We were there in April, before spring was in full swing. There is no grass and the RV sites are close together. We stayed for just one night, and it served our needs. It's close to the highway, but we were situated toward the back of the park and didn't have any problems with highway noise. The wifi worked great. We did not go inside any of the buildings (laundry, restrooms, etc), so I cannot speak to those amenities We would stay here again for an overnight, but we wouldn't want to stay here for... Read More

large shaded camp sites near by the Golden Spike Union Pacific RR yard.Walking distance to a few restaurants.
Was going to stay one night but decided to stay a 2nd night and spend the day doing wash and visiting the Golden Tower Train Yard. The location met all of our needs. I'd stay just for the great internet speed.
We arrived late afternoon and was given their last available spot-which was a very nice spot. This was not a holiday weekend. I would recommend reservations.
this place was very nice with mature landscaping clean bathrooms and a full line of camping supplies. I was worried about noise from I-80 but it was not an issue
We just stayed overnight so we didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities, but we did find it nice and clean, shady level lots with a little space between. If we could have, we would have like to stay longer. It was right off the highway, so there were some road sounds, but in an RV with the AC running, it didn't bother us. Very convenient, easy in and out, Very friendly staff.
