We were lucky enough to get a spot at one of the Casita spaces. Wow! What a view to wake up to, as they overlook the lovely golf course next door. The outdoor kitchen space is very nice, with a grill and a fridge, chairs and table, even an overhead fan for when it gets hot. The whole park has a very quiet, peaceful vibe, and is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Cant wait to come back! But you need to book ahead as it's a popular place and stays full!
Stayed for a week - although a nice park - we had problems - advertised that they had a dog park and cable they had neither - we were checked into a site that the cable has never worked (did not tell me ahead of time) - after i complained they hooked us up to a neighbor and we only got snow and making the TV unusable - according to a neighbor this is a common problem in this new park as the underground wiring was done wrong - many had snow on their tv There is no spa at this campground Pay their... This resort is beautiful and peaceful! The office staff is great to deal with. We spent 9 days there and no complaints. We ate at the restaurant twice, used the laundry room but did not use the pool due to windy conditions. If you golf this is a great stop for you! Also go to the Haby Bakery in town their pastries are delicious. Not much in the town to see but a good location to see things within an hour or more drive. We were there during spring break week and we are not traveling with children.... Read More

Spent a long, four day weekend in mid-December to enjoy the San Antonio River Walk at Christmas time. Alsatian RV Resort is truly a "resort" and one of, if not the best, RV parks we have visited the last five years. Staff was very helpful when available (they had recently lost an employee). The location gives a true quiet, "out of in the countyw" feel. The "premium" pull through spot we used gave plenty of room for our 40 foot motor home with a four door Wrangler in tow. Spacing between RV spots is wonderful. The golf course view is fantastic. The resort's hiking trail gives the feeling of being deep in a forest. The amenities are top notch. Only complaint is the limited hours for the fitness room. The town of Castroville was also enjoyable to explore.

We stayed here to visit San Antonio RiverWalk, Alamo, etc. and thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nite stay. Very convenient to San Antonio, great restaurants nearby. Hubby enjoyed golf at the resort and also at the nearby Golf Club of Texas. Massage at the on-site spa was wonderful. On-site restaurant open Thurs-Sat, we had pizza that was just OK and enjoyed the Sat. nite entertainment. Pool and hot tub very nice and clean. Definitely would return.
We stay here as its close to family and friends. We have enjoyed our stay as the staff is friendly and helpful. This is our 3rd stay here and will return for many more. This is a new park so the trees are small. We have used the swimming pool and pond. Both are enjoyable. The restrooms have been clean and well maintained.
Bathrooms were fine except the shower drain flooded the floor. Park excellent shape. Pull in sites cement pads. Water, elect, and sewer connections excellent. Wide RV spacing. Very nice pool. Staff was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Golf course was great would play again.
Very Nice park, although its a new place and the trees are still very small, It seems to be well maintained and landscaped. Very clean and the staff were Great! Also the sites are very large, easy in and out!!
Best I've seen so far, and golf 1/2 mile from here. Outstanding
