This park is a Highway West Vacations resort. We recently stayed at another of their properties in Coos Bay, OR. This is a quality park which is located in a beautiful setting on a portion of Silver Lake which is about 30 miles from Mount St. Helens. The park has asphalt driveways and gravel site pads with full hookups. There is a mix of back-in and pull-thru sites. We had a pull-thru site that was quite large with picnic table and fire pit. The park is clean and well maintained. We paid $44.88 per night with Good Sam discount.

This was my second summer at Silver Cove RV Resort. Last summer I ended up here because I couldn't find a nice location closer to Vancouver, WA. I'm glad I ended up here, so much so, I came back this year. The other guests are all friendly, as is the entire staff. The staff works very hard to keep the grounds nice and assist all guests as much as possible. The company that bought the campground a couple years ago has added new facilities and continues to try to upgrade the park in a variety of ways.... Read More

The staff works very hard to keep the grounds nice and assist all guests as much as possible. The company that bought the campground a couple years ago has added new facilities and continues to try to upgrade the park in a variety of ways. The sites are the largest I have encountered in the 2 years and 12 states I have been RVing for. The canal system leads out to Silverlake. You can kayak, fish, etc. on the lake. The canal water is muddy and full of lily pads, but safe even for swimming. They rent boats, if you don't have your own. There is a small play area for the kids, horseshoe pit area, and other games available to borrow. They have a DVD library you can barrow from, and a small store. There are two buildings that groups can use, including the brand new (just completed this summer) lodge. During certain times of the year, the goose poop can be an issue in parts of the park, but most of the year it is a minor to non-existent issue. It is generally a very quiet park, except for a few kids playing, and friends and families enjoying each others company. The park has limited Wi-Fi; however I know that the new management team is working on getting a better system in place. They even have some cabins available to rent if you know people who want to camp but don't have a rig. Overall, I highly recommend this campground.

Have stayed here multiple times and keep coming back because of the friendly staff and hospitality. The sites are well maintained and in proper working order. We have enjoyed walking, biking, and nature watching with our grandchildren here. Kayaking and fishing are also available! Truly a family friendly park. The new lodge is beautiful and more sites are being added. Would recommend this location for a quick trip or an extended stay. Thx again!! The Klimeks

We have stayed here for 8yrs and enjoyed this place. But they have been bought out by a out of state company. The rates have sky rocked if you want to stay over a ho;iday the rates are $60.00 plus. This is not a resort just a over priced campground

Goose poop everywhere! Nice wide spots but those out in the open get very hot during the summer. The pull through sites had no shade at all. Nice paved road in campground so great for riding bikes. Fishing from the banks did produce some results. Restrooms were clean, but remember the code or you will not get in. Also bathrooms were a walk away. Very nice staff at the campground. Fishing from the banks did produce some results. Restrooms were clean, but remember the code or you will not get in. Also bathrooms were a walk away. Very nice staff at the campground. Take your kayaks, canoes or even a boat. No dock for the boats but there are canals to take a boat up and tie at the shore. The canal from the camp ground takes you out to Silver Lake which we really enjoyed boating on and swimming in. There is no swimming at the campgound due to the vegetation, mud and narrowness of the canals. No matter where you walk in the grass or at the boat launch, just look out for all the goose poop. Nice park, but for the nightly fee I would expect some things like a swimming pool, covered areas in the pull through sites to get out of the heat or even rain, a rest room closer to the pull through sites, could do a much better job on cleaning up the goose droppings and improve the boat launch area.
