Small individual sites obviously a carry over from age, which were not level for normal pull thru parking. Very tight for Class A motor coaches, especially if towing a vehicle. But the real bad issue was the traffic noise since the park is now suffering from the recent redo (updating) of the 395 Interchange. The noise from 6 lanes of traffic did not stop all night long. I think that this park is over rated since the updating of the interchange of US 395.
This place is a complete dump. I have no idea how it received 9 in the good sam book We did have full hook ups, our satellite dish worked. Dog area is behind a fence and nobody picks up after their dogs , during the heat of the day it smells very fowl. People that work here are very nice. Lots of long term ppl stay here. I would never recommend this campground.
A little run down, didn't really like the rocks. Would be nice to have more trees for shade. Don't think we'll be back.
I don't have a problem with the facility. My site was level, good view over the valley. yes the wifi is too week to use, and it's noisy from road noise. The problem I have is on the internet and on there park map, etc. they list Good Sam discount weekly and monthly rates. I was told everybody gets the same discount even if your not with any club. If everybody gets the discount then there is no discount the rate is $40/night. I ask for the weekly rate they said there is no weekly/monthly rate in... Read More

Restrooms were clean but no hand soap was supplied. We were told they had a good WiFi but it was very bad. So slow it kept cutting out. The park was over priced compared to others.
Staff ran across the street when we pulled in after-hours to help us park and obtain shower key. All staff very friendly and helpful. Provided us with map with RV appropriate ads and conplimentary wallet card to write our vehicle license #'s for our trip. Let us jack up dolly couple of hours so we could replace the tires. Noisy due to road construction, but not their fault. Close to businesses and attractions. Great place!
Noisy, noisy, noisy. Right next to the highway and you hear noise all night long. Roads are narrow with many trees several of which are unavoidable. One is right near the entrance. Very tight maneuvering for a long motorhome. The office was closed when we arrived. We drove through the back end of the park where there were many long term RV's, and several were very untidy. The camp host caught up with us as we returned to the office. We asked for a pull thru long enough that we wouldn't have to... Read More

The camp host caught up with us as we returned to the office. We asked for a pull thru long enough that we wouldn't have to unhook. He took us to a spot that was entirely too short so we ended up unhooking the car. Sites are very close together, and we had to jockey the car sideways and avoid blocking our neighbor. We checked out the next morning which was fine. Much too expensive for what you get.

Quiet park, very clean, sites are level and well-tended. Full hookups, pull-thru as well as back-in sites. No grass to speak of (in case it matters) but there are trees & the place is well-lit at night. There are quite a number of full-timers living on-site. The staff is awesome, very helpful--we stayed 2 nights on a recent weekend. Rates are very reasonable. They have a pool, spa, basketball court, pool table & some exercise equipment that's available for use by campers staying at the park.... Read More

I didn't use the showers or laundry room but I would guess it's just as clean & well-kept as the rest of the park. We're looking forward to staying here again soon.

Outstanding RV Park, Outstanding Employees! My Tow car's battery had died and one of the employees brought his POV to my site and gave me a jump start. With the first site we were assigned to, the sewer hose was not long enough so I went up to the office to purchase an extension. The person on duty said why don't you let me put you into a site where your hose will fit. It will save you a few bucks! Now that person could have just sold me the extension, but no they were thinking of saving the Customer... Read More

That to me, says a lot about the owners, Manager and the employees of Comstock Country RV Resort. I will highly recommend them to my friends and other Good Sam Members.
