this park is beautifully laid out in the woods thus it's a little tight for the biggest rigs. there is an open section across the street for big rigs. it is very quiet and all utilities worked well including cable tv and wifi. restrooms and showers are very nice but you pay for showers (.25 for 7 minutes). roads and pads are gravel and a little muddy during heavy rains. the staff is very friendly. there are quite a few permanent residents in the park but all are clean and quiet at night. we used... Site was gravel, wide and long enough for our 36 foot Class A and Jeep. We had grass, but many sites did not. There was a nice table and a fire ring. Utilities were good, no power issues and very good water pressure. A small wood partition/wall blocks the view of your neighbor's utilities, no view of sewer connections, very nice! There are basically three sections: lower by the lake, upper west heavily tree covered, upper east seasonal, and a new northern section across the road with a large number... Read More

Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior roads were gravel, navigable, but a bit narrow in spots. There is direct access to the lake, boat docks, and they have water craft rentals, but we didn't use. There is a fish cleaning station, and plenty of people were fishing. Park trails are advertised, but upkeep was poor, overgrown.

Crazy friendly staff. They went out of their way to make you comfortable. Found a place to play in the water. I like this place and would return. My only issues is how tight they fit you in and the showers cost money to use. Picture 12 is the most accurate for places to stay in an RV. They do have cabins too!
This is a great park. The owners were so friendly and we had a wonderful site over looking the water. We rented a boat and went and explored the lake and it was so easy to arrange. We stayed during the week so it was not at all crowded. We had a great time and will go back.
This park has a nice mountain feel with the large trees and location right on the lake. The sites are gravel and tight and the hookups are long for many of the sites. The park has a small bathroom & shower room, volleyball area, horse shoes, a dock for boats and a fish cleaning station. See our full review at www.thegilliamsisland.com
The park is very well kept and arranged in a way that most sites have some privacy from those adjacent to them. The owner and staff were helpful and polite. Reserved a pull through spot, and the was 50, 30 and 20 amp service on the post. The cable has a little static on a few channels (but who goes to watch TV?). There is no place to swim in the lake from the RV park as there is no real shore nor was there an attraction for the little kids. However, 2 miles west is Ike Kinswa State Park. The... Read More

There is no place to swim in the lake from the RV park as there is no real shore nor was there an attraction for the little kids. However, 2 miles west is Ike Kinswa State Park. The swimming area is PERFECT for little ones as they have roped off areas where it is shallow for a good 30-40 yards. Also the park has toys for the kids and shade trees for the monitoring parents. When you come back from the state park, the kids can ride bikes around and have fun with the other children. The RV park is expanding across the street with more sites. Had a good time. Would return!

Beautiful lake, flowers. The cabins are far above normal - beautifully decorated and maintained. We look forward to returning to enjoy the rental boats on the lake, boat tours and more. We were very pleased with the service and the property. It is a quiet, beautiful park with nice amenities.
Harmony Lakeside is a hidden jewel on Lake Mayfield. The owner and office staff are friendly and helpful. The park is located equidistant between Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier National Parks, and is a perfect jumping off point to see both parks. The park has very good 50 amp shore power, strong WiFi signal, and clean bath/shower house. Cable TV reception was sporadic and snowy at times. We had made previous reservations for a FHU pull thru site for our big rig coach and had a lake view. We thoroughly... Read More
