Older KOA park just north of I-10 in Benson. Overall the RV park condition is average at best, definitely needs some updating. The interior roads and pads are dirt/gravel; the access road to the park can use some repair/grading.The club house was used for storage and not open; the pool was drained and closed (seasonal?). The WIFI was weak, but the cable was OK. The restrooms/showers were average for a KOA. Overall, we were a little disappointed with the parks condition, however the management tried hard to accommodate us. The sites available to us were too short for both our fifth wheel and truck, so they let us use a full adjacent site to park our vehicles, at no additional charge. There are more than a dozen RV parks in the surrounding area, much nicer and with similar pricing - so the KOA pricing seems high for what you get. Having said that, we could not find an available spot at those other parks either (this is their high season). Also some of the other parks are near the railroad tracks (main line - very busy); the KOA is far enough away so the noise is not distracting. Overall this KOA is an acceptable short stay, close to I-10; particularly if the local "destination" type of RV parks are full.
