Very nice RV park and here is why! The owners greeted us warmly and were very sweet, gave us some suggestions of local things to see (like the Buffalo Museum which was awesome). the sites were all very big and well spaced and our pull thru site #29, was very level. We were traveling with our dog and the park provides and excellent exercise and "biz" area. There were poop bags and a garbage can. Yes, there was a long gravel road to get to the entrance, but we had been told about it and just kept... Read More

Yes, there was a long gravel road to get to the entrance, but we had been told about it and just kept our speed down so there was no problem. We had excellent water pressure and good quality water. Some reviewers said they were not pet friendly, not so. They are just not "poop everywhere friendly", as well they should be. I always pick up after my dog, but not everyone does and the "lifters" can sure kill bushes... We did not have any issue with highway noise. This is a nice, clean park with wonderful, compassionate owners. Would for sure stay there again!

The campground was clean and quiet, but I feel like people should be aware of the bathroom policy. This wasn't a big issue for us ... but depending on the makeup of your family the policy might be problematic for you. Here is a section from their rules: "Accompany your children 12 & under to the restrooms boys to Mens, girls to Womens" This means if you are parent traveling with children of a different gender, you won't be able to accompany your children into the restroom.
Very cute, immaculate campground! The restroom and showers were the cleanest and tidiest we have ever been in! The whole campground was in tip top shape and neat as a pin. You could tell the owners take great pride in their campground and it shows. And very easy on and off Route 94.
This is the nicest campground, friendly folks that run it, cleanest bathrooms. Showers were nice and clean. The area is mowed and well maintained. There's a nice size kids play area. There's a mowed path that you can walk that goes around the grounds to stretch your legs. There's designated pet areas and nicely marked areas where pets are not allowed. A nice store at check in as well. We were given information about the area attractions and friendly conversation. We highly recommend Jamestown Campground.... Read More

Very nice campground............good for one night stop........... Friendly staff and well kept grounds.........would stop again........
Amazing camp ground. VERY pet friendly. The dog walking track is amazing I will defiantly be coming back here again. The spots are wide pull thru with plenty of room between spots. shaded area as well a satellite TV area. I can't say enough about the friendly Owners who ride bikes to escort you to you spot. Easy on off I94 shopping and gas are very close. Low Low noise and amazing views. A must stop by even if it is for 1 night.
This was the nicest park so far on our trip. The owners were friendly and helpful. The park was clean and well maintained. We were traveling with several dogs and they accommodated us with no issues. We did not use the restrooms, but the rest of the park was great. It had a playground area for kids, a pet area, tent areas and a couple of small cabins. I definitely would choose this park again.
Very nice campground. Check in was easy and owners very pleasant. Took us to our site and explained where everything was located.
Very nice park and well managed by the owners. Seems to be anti-pet as I did not see any poop bags or disposal cans that most parks have. We carry our own so no big deal. He even mentioned for our dog not to do their business on our sites lawn. OK, got it. The reason I give this park such a low overall rating is the road owned by the county. It totally wiped out our RV and car we pull from the dusty road. We had to go afterwards to a truck wash the next day at a cost of 85 dollars to get things... Read More

Nice park, but never again until the road is improved.

Was on a dirt road but once there it was worth the trip! Friendly and helpful owners. Nice shade trees and sites. Would stay here again!
This by far is one of our favorite stopping points when traveling in the north. The roads are wide, the hook ups are easy. Everything well maintained and kept up nicely. The double hedge row walking path makes for a great way to stretch our four legged friend. The owners and people are friendly and a joy to talk to. The limited shop on site is limited of what can be purchased but the showers and laundry are secure to all outsiders. Being right on the highway you think that is all you would... Read More

Being right on the highway you think that is all you would hear, but it does turn into grey noise after a short time and always turns into a peaceful stay. Each time we come down 94 I will make sure to stop in even if it is for one night

Very hospitable and welcoming overnight place, mostly nestled in a grove of trees. Not a lot of 'kid appeal' in that there is no playground or pool but you will get decent separation and a quiet, restful night. Strong WiFi, cable, and a good variety of options for campers and RVers.
This park is an old KOA. The new owners have been here four years and really brought it back. They were very nice to meet and talk to. The park is very easy to drive and maneuver. Roads are wide and spaces long and level. The utilities were easy to hook up. There is a picnic pavilion and a playground for kids. Also a mowed walking path all around the campground. The bathrooms and showers are very nice, clean and comfortable. I94 runs along one side of this park, there is just no escaping some road... Read More

My wife and I really liked this place. The roads are wide and easy to navigate. The sites are as wide as most places we stop at. The connections are in convenient locations. As most people have mentioned there are only certain area's where pets are welcomed. The trails around the campground are very nice and well groomed. Nellie enjoyed the walk around the park. There were thousands of butterflies when we were there. The park is located at the end of a long gravel road. when we stopped, the... Read More

The park is located at the end of a long gravel road. when we stopped, the first half had been watered so it was not that bad. The second half was very dusty. we followed a hay truck out and we had to stop so we could see. The campground is located next to the highway and that can be a plus for the access. The noise was there, but not as bad as some places we stayed. It was far enough from the ramp that we did not hear the trucks rumbling to a stop with the jake brakes.
Overall we enjoyed this place. The Wifi was very solid and fast. The owners were nice and we felt welcomed. We will keep this place on our list for the future.

This is great campground. Very nice staff. Very clean bathroom. Nice laundry. Good location just off the interstate. Only negatives are some long term / permanent residents and a long dusty gravel road to get to the campground.
Wonderful friendly staff that took extra time to look after all our needs. Very clean and neat /restroom. For an over night or extended stay good place.
