Convenient location. Not at all like the pictures on Yelp or even on this site. Play equipment old and rusted and paint chipping. Barely adequate for overnight and wouldn't recommend for extended stay. Not well kept. Frequent rain and very muddy/dirty. Looks like some construction going on. Gate not really secure - pedestrian in and out open to everyone. We couldn't connect to wi-fi at all. WE do not recommend.
When we first arrived I was laughing look at all of these Adult dance bars. Went to go check in friendly staff check in was great then they gave me a key to enter the campground (odd) The site was ok but it felt like you were locked in, the site was soaked with rain from the previous day. My wife went to use the ladies room closed for some work. That night it rained and pretty hard woke up to our and others being surrounded by inches of water, my wife again went to go take a shower, no heat, no... Read More

A perfectly adequate place for an overnight stop. Grounds were well maintained. Rest rooms were clean. Cable was good.
I have been passing this place for years and never stopped. We decided to stay on this trip and were quite impressed. Beautiful facility and a very reasonable price. The kids really enjoyed it too. Very friendly staff.... The history of South of the Border is also interesting, if you get a chance read about it. The original founder was a person who stands up for what he believes. He employed Black and Mexican folks at a time other businesses would not.
A convenient place to stop and enjoy south of the border. Good for a one night stay.
We have passed this place many times , but never stayed. It is very convenient to the interstate, so decided to try it. We didn't go into the amusement area at all, so this is strictly about the campground. The lady that checked us in was very nice. The park is very quiet and well kept. Did not use the restroom area. I can easily recommend this as a good 1 night stay if you are passing thru area.
We stayed at the hotel in the pass and was worried it would be not so great like there. We were pleasantly surprised. Wifi came in great and our Dish came in great as well... Staff was attentive and it was a very relaxing experience - we will be stopping there on our way back home to FL. GREAT JOB...
This campground surprised me. After traveling i-95 by car, South of the Border always looked empty. This was an overnight stop and our first stay at this CG. The sites were full-hook up but we only used electric. The sites are assigned rather than picked. Ours was easy in and out and in the back along the golf course. During the night, the CG was quiet, but mid-morning, the go-kart track started and we discovered we were also close to that. We arrived after dark and it was hard to find the campground... Read More

We arrived after dark and it was hard to find the campground even though there was a good sign. I think it would not have been a problem during daylight. The gate was a little finicky both arriving and leaving.
The price was very good. I plan to use this CG in the future.

Nice clean campground, easy in and outs on good size sites. Very clean park, clean rest rooms and reasonable rates. Right at South of the Border which is great fun. We stay here every time we travel north from FL. Staff is very friendly and personable.
