I booked a stay here for my family and 2 other families for Easter weekend. Two of our group's families had previously stayed here a couple of weeks before. We understood the campground was growing and improving but were excited to stay again.Unfortunately, our Easter weekend stay was not enjoyable in the least bit.It started out with us arriving late thursday night (which we had told the campground about at booking), upon arriving we found campers in one of our reserved spots. The following morning (friday) we were told the camper was a year long camper and was late on payment which is why the spot showed as open at booking. They had made payment and were guaranteed that spot - even though we had booked and PAID for this spot. The manager (an older man) told us Friday morning we would need to move and we had to disagree many times about where to move in order for the 3 campers to be together (since that is how we originally booked things). After about an hour of disagreeing, we finally had it figured out. Around 3 pm Friday, we were FINALLY able to set up and begin to enjoy our stay. Saturday went well and we were finally able to begin enjoying our weekend. Sunday morning we got up, cooked breakfast, and were about to have an egg hunt for the 11 kids we had with us. At booking, I asked for a late check out for all 3 sites. At 11 AM, the manager (same old man), came over and began to push us out of our spots stating that check out was at 11 AM and we should be gone since he had other campers ready to get in them. The owners were riding around on their golf cart, and I stopped them to discuss everything that was going on. The older man came around and began arguing with me in front of the owner. Fed up with this man, I walked away. The owner came back and asked how he could "make it right," but did not offer a way to solve this. We still have not heard anything. Needless to say, we will NOT be back due to management and how things were handled.
