What a great night. The orange trees were blooming, so the aroma of orange blossoms filled the air. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had a reservation packet made up for us, with directions to our site. You can pick the oranges for free...bring a picker because almost all the fruit reachable from the ground is picked quickly, and you cannot use ladders or climb the trees....makes sense to protect guests and trees. Easy on and off 58 E or W. Didn't use restrooms, but if the rest of the park... Read More

This really is a beautiful rv park and the only reason we're not giving it 5 stars is the traffic noise on 2 sides which wasn't terrible, but still interrupted conversations once in a while. We scheduled a short day of travel just to be able to stop here based on recommendations from friends and online forums and are glad we did! Oranges were ripe and full of flavor! We also liked that as it wasn't full it seemed like they were spacing out the people staying just a night or two by leaving an empty... Read More

We also liked that as it wasn't full it seemed like they were spacing out the people staying just a night or two by leaving an empty site between sites being used. Didn't use the restrooms so not able to comment on them but would expect they'd be in decent condition based on what we saw from the rest of the park? We'll stay here again if our travels take us this way, and would enjoy staying more than the 1 day we did, but probably see about a spot farther from the roadways.

Stayed for a week during the shut down. Space 90 was a great spot, didn't have to unhook but we did. Always come back here when coming through Bakersfield.

Easy access off of Hwy 58, easy check-in. Big park among the orange trees. Only spent one night with water and electric but thought the value good. Would return.

Our first time here. The plan was to stay one night, but once we got here we extended our stay an extra night. Where else can you pick oranges and eat them at your campsite? And they offer donuts and coffee every morning! The laundry, bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. I have never used a RV Parks showers before, but I used these! Highly recommend this place!

Medium sized RV Park located off Hwy 58 at the bottom of the Tehachapi Grade east of Bakersfield. Sites are reasonably spaced and FHU's are centrally located. Most sites are very large with lots of room to park tow vehicles. Nice pool and grass dog run. It really is in an orange grove with trees planted between each site. Very good wifi. Biggest negative is all the dust. Sites are dirt and the local dirt is very powdery and coats everything within a few hours. Class A's idling and revving... Read More

Biggest negative is all the dust. Sites are dirt and the local dirt is very powdery and coats everything within a few hours. Class A's idling and revving exacerbate the issue. It would be nice if management spaced out the guests a bit more (park was maybe %25 occupied) or maybe grouped them by type. Must visit Tehachapi, a small historic town in the high desert. Great RR Museum highlites the Tehachapi Loop. Alpaca farm nearby is a fun stop. Lots of produce farms in Bakersfield area, but otherwise not the most appealing city to visit.

A beautiful rv park! Like an oasis in the middle of the desert. We loved the sites with orange trees between each one. Full hook-up with cable all for $40 with Good Sam. Grounds are awesome and bathroom facilities are SPOTLESS. We would definitely stay here again. Hate to leave.

Large park with orange trees for virtually every site. Wide concrete drives with long gravel sites. Plenty of room for even the biggest rigs. This is the off season for this area but park is still very well maintained. We just did a stop over here as did quite a few other RV'ers. Nice simple stocked convenience items. Pool looked inviting but had quite a few children having fun so we didn't dip. In season you can pick all the oranges you want to eat.

We stayed for just one night passing thru the area. Enjoyed the facility very much. Sites are gravel and fairly level. We had a beautiful sunset the night we were there. The campground is very clean. They have an RV wash station, and free donuts and coffee in the AM. Very reasonable prices, quiet, clean, safe, outside of the city, nestled in an orange grove. We'll be back another day for another stay.

We spent several nights at Orange Grove and found it to be a beautiful, well groomed and spacious campground. Easy on/off access from the #58 freeway heading east out of Bakersfield, CA. Every site has it's own orange tree (unfortunately they aren't ripe for eating until Dec - March). Fresh bakery every morning along with good coffee. Helpful staff both on the phone and during our stay. Nice pool, laundry, everything clean and big lots. Great place for short or long term visitors.

I was here for 3 nights. Nice people, nice level sites, super clean bathrooms and laundry. The wifi worked really well. My pull-through site was easy to locate and get in and out of. It was easy on-off of CA 58. Nice fruit & nut market just down the street for local produce.

No reservations but had no problem getting in this time of year, pleasant front desk staff. Aptly named as you are in the middle of a producing orange grove, winter campers are invited to pick some. Beautiful clubhouse great for relaxing in lots of space with a fireplace, great for groups. Just off highway; but did hear a few loud train whistles.

This was an excellent park to stay at. Very easy in and out spaces that were level. We got in after hours with no real reservation but had everything in the packet to find our spot and relax after a rough day on the road. Staff was great, very friendly and informative. Swimming area for the kids was a welcome sight that they enjoyed both nights we were there. The trains were frequent, but really not a bother to my family, especially after we were in for the nights. My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Orange Grove RV Park. The staff in the office were great and welcomed us warmly. The Park is very pet friendly, it's easy to walk your pet in the Park and there is a nice dedicated, enclosed play space for pets. The pull through spaces are long enough to accommodate a tow vehicle and our pull through space was the most level spot we have parked in over two months! Being parked right next to orange trees and picking fresh oranges in the morning for breakfast was awesome!! We were told the oranges were not currently "in season", but that if they looked good, we could pick them. Wow...the sweetness was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to staying again. Thank you, Orange Grove RV Park, for a great place to call home for a couple of nights!

My first thought of this park was that it was pretty cool. When we pulled in they had some really interesting topiary trees in the front. The staff was incredibly friendly and when we went to our site we were parked in a orange orchard. THEN NIGHT CAME. The traffic noise was pretty loud, the campground is too close to the highway. The trains went by a couple of times an hour and they blared their horns long and sometimes 5-6 times in a row. This is a great place. We stayed the weekend of March 19th and the orange trees were blooming and the air smelled like the most beautiful perfume ever. The staff was really nice and helpful. They told us about a fruit stand about 1/4 mile away and we walked to it and bought some goodies. The park is top notch, very clean, and the clubhouse is gorgeous. The only drawback is the train. One of the cleanest parks we have ever seen. Setting was very nice in among the orange trees. Restrooms very clean! Great dog walk area. Everyone extremely friendly. Easy in level sites.

This was our second stay at this park. It is clean and has nice level sites. There is easy access from Highway 58. It is perfect for an overnight. We travel this route several times a year to visit family. We have stayed both with our small class C and with our 31' trailer.

We arrived after the office was closed. We had made a reservation earlier in the day. All the information we needed was in an envelope on the door, and it was very detailed information for our site, the facilities, and anything else we might need during our stay. The place was spotless. We really liked the ease of getting in and getting out--lots of space and large signs and arrows for direction.
