We actually stayed for a period of 3 months in 2021, 1 month last year and we are booked already for 3 months next year. Atmosphere suits us very well with this enchanting environment under oak tree umbrella. The new owner understands people's needs and he is in the process of expanding the campground from 180 sites to 400 sites. The whole layout takes into account the desires of campers for more free sky visibility for satellite dish users, larger and longer site. Activities are planned every... Read More

We stayed last June and came back for the winter. More improvements every day. This place is amazing. Part of the new addition is open and has luscious landscaping. Did I mention how nice the dog park is? The. Best.
Great park and Super Friendly Staff! - Stayed here for two nights as we were headed south. Easy on/off access from I-75. Large pull thru paved sites, newly paved roads. Will definitely stay here again as we pass through the area.
Confirmed Covid cases and loud construction noises. Rarely do I ever write a bad review but this place is an exception. We checked in to this RV campground and there were 4 employees in the office. None were wearing masks. They escort you to your campsite and that gentlemen was not wearing a mask either. The first campers we saw walked up to us from site 38 ( no masks) and told us the campground was having an outbreak of covid. Their neighbors at site 58 had been sick over 10 days. I overheard the... The first campers we saw walked up to us from site 38 ( no masks) and told us the campground was having an outbreak of covid. Their neighbors at site 58 had been sick over 10 days. I overheard the woman in the site across from us describing her symptoms to another camper ( no mask) and then went to laundry in the public laundry. Bottom line- we did not go there to get sick and the campers with covid were not quarantined or wearing masks. We asked the management why we had not been told and they had no response. We left early with no compensation to the days we had paid for.
You should also be aware that they are adding over 200 new campsites. Construction noises and beeping machinery starts at 7:30 am and ends at 6:00pm. Even on Christmas Eve- there was noise until 3pm.
They have removed so many trees you can hear I-75 traffic 24 hours a day.
The pool has been closed for construction fir several months.

We are full time RVers and stayed at Ocala North RV Resort in June 2020. The resort is lovely with majestic trees and landscaping. Our Super C motorhome is self contained so we did not use their bathhouse or laundry facility. The pool area looked well kept and clean. Staff is very friendly. We are back for the winter of 2020-21 and hope to make this a regular stop on our travels.
This park used to be a beautiful gem in need of some polish but since it's under new ownership, they've clear cut trees, squeezed more sites in between the original pads and neglect its customers reasonable reservations requests. The 6 month old workmanship is so flawed that the concrete pads are crumbling under medium size rigs and water pressure fails regularly with no communication from staff. There are large cables running outside all over the road (a real hazard for us old folks) and the... Read More

We were thinking of coming back for another winter but with the clear cutting of trees, smoke & ash in the air from burning the tree debris, airboats trying to hide the smoke, the constant high speed heavy machinery running around, we found better accommodations for a better price. This will be an "express" type of RV park (nothing resort about it) where you just roll thru for one night on their way to a real resort.
The new managements lipstick is already wearing off this quick flip "investment opportunity"

Incredibly helpful staff. Very well maintained grounds. Will return in a heartbeat when we're out that way again! Did I mention how fantastic the staff is at this location?
Nice long and level concrete pads. Peaceful surroundings with beautiful oak trees. Very well maintained campground. Easy to get to, right off I-75.
We stayed here for two nights in November. This is a nice campground. We had a pull-through site that was long and level. All sites are concrete with a concrete patio and a table. The roads are narrow but we had no trouble maneuvering our 36' class C with our pickup truck attached. If ever in this area, we'll stop here again.
We specifically choose this RV park because it advertised Cable TV and WiFi. Our first day there we were able to hook up to WiFi with a very weak signal. Days 2-6 while it said you could were connected there was no internet signal at all. (We use Internet for Facebook updates and general Internet searches. No streaming) While I was content to sit back and read, my husband was outraged that he was unable to watch his college football bowl games as there were only 18 channels and 3 of them were all... Also the bathrooms near our rig were closed the entire time for maintenance . The grounds were kept clean. However for two days we heard blowers and lawn mowers from about 9 am and continuing most of the day. While we enjoyed our stay we will definitely not return here during the football season.

I felt lucky getting a reservation late in the year at a Florida RV park.....this is an older park that had ran down hill by the previous owner...new owner was from October of 2016.....the sound of chainsaws and the pipe line workers did not help to be a relaxing time while staying there......restrooms in the park some worked...some were closed and never to re-open....our stay there ended after about 40 days...instead of 90 days....it's a good park for short stay...not one to call home....we were... The setting for this park is beautiful. The big trees and spanish moss create a wonderful atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the restroom & shower facilities, while clean, are old and need some serious refurbishing. Our pull-through pad worked for us, but a number of the pads (including ours) need concrete replaced in places. The roads in the park are very narrow. Pulling our rig into and out of our space was very tight. There were a lot of snowbirds in the... Read More
