In the Heart of the Amish country; 1 mile from Berlin!
Very close to quilts shops, Amish home cooking, cheese houses, Flea Markets and Benefit Auctions. Looking for Amish made furnishings? Oak and Hardwood furniture shops are within 2 miles. Come and enjoy the laid back life!
This is a beautiful facility and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area in their camper. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the staff is very friendly. We even extended our stay because we enjoyed the campground and the area immensely. The location is very close to Berlin and all the shops that it has to offer. We will definitely be back to stay at Scenic Hills!
Nice people. Overall good campground. The bottom loop is much quieter than the top part due to a large loud wood factory next door. Would stay there again. Nice touch of furnishing free firewood!
Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 13 nights in a site for big rigs (site 101). The sites here are roomy with a grassy area and small trees between each site. The site was gravel, level, and long enough for our Coach and TOAD. Satellite worked great here and the campground has good wifi. If you have a dog there is ample area to walk your pet. The Managers (husband & wife) were very nice and the park is located in a quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would go back.
This RV park is very nice. The sites have plenty of space, not all sites have grass. Depends on which section you are in. It is very quiet in section we stayed (site #118) except for the Robins chirping at 5:00am.... No restrooms/showers, but not a problem as we always use our own units restroom/shower. All sites have full hookups anyway. Didn't have contact with staff, we came in after hours and used self check in. They maintain their sites very well, and have free fire wood for campers.... We stay September 9th to 11th at Scenic Hills. Very nice location in Amish Country. Easy access off Route 39. Kind of tough to find in the dark if you are not familiar with the area. Staff is very accommodating. Very nice gravel site with plenty of space.
Very clean and well kept park. Wifi worked great on Friday and was spotty on Saturday. Perfect place to stay when visiting Amish country. Close to Troyers, Heinis, Lehmans. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Restrooms would have been nice, but it's an RV park. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the lack of shade.
Quiet, easy to walk to attractions, appears to have many seasonals and those working in the area but all units nicely kept. Laundry clean and easy to use altho not in the camping area. No restrooms or showers which was not a problem as this campground caters to adults and most have their own facilities. Only problem, no safe area to go to in severe storms which had been forecast but did not happen.
Do not bother with this place. No restroom, showers, horrible wifi and no, I mean NONE, tv reception. We booked for 3 nights and only stayed 1 night. And there are no refunds because it's such a disapointment. It was quiet but nothing to do there.
This was one of our favorite campgrounds as we traveled around the states this year. It looks like it's going to be in the city but it's not. It's set in the hills as the title suggests. The sites can be up on a hill or below. We were up on a hill, with a pull through and lots of space around us. There was even a gazebo near us. They provide free firewood as well. It's very clean and the staff is very, very helpful. There are no restrooms, but that wasn't something we were concerned about.... Read More

We did use the laundry which was fine, but since there were only a few dryers it was annoying that someone left their stuff in there for an extremely long time. I guess if you wanted to you could walk into town, but it's a bit of a walk. Plus, the horse and buggies leave their calling cards on the streets so you have to dodge them. Again, we loved this place and spent about 4 nights there. If going to the Amish Country - try this place. I doubt you will be disappointed.
I wouldn't call it kid friendly. I don't recall seeing many children or things for them to do. Several pets around though.
