Excellent clean campground. Excellent customer service, Extremely well maintained. Excellent hook ups. Cable tv can improve and is hard to get air channels.
Extremely Accommodating during stay. Very Clean and Neat Facility. Definitely will be staying here in the future.
We absolutely Loved this campground!!! This is the cleanest and friendliest campground that we've stayed in. Cave Country RV Campground is in a great location. It is close to most all of the attractions yet hidden from the main streets of Cave City. Very beautifully landscaped. The bathrooms and shower house is spotless!! They are cleaner and nicer than some hotels have. Very spacious and are cleaned daily. The sites are pull through and very level. The campground itself is designed beautiful.... Read More

The sites are pull through and very level. The campground itself is designed beautiful. When we arrived, there was an employee parked in front of the office in a golf cart that shuttled us to our campsite. Our trash was picked up every morning. We were there Labor Day week end with our children. The only thing missing was a pool. The owners told us they are in the process of putting a pool in. The only thing i would recommend is maybe a play area for children other than that this Campground is Top Notch!!

A great experience from start to finish. Love the attention to detail .
We picked this campground through Good Sam because of the good appeal on the internet and also the positive ratings and feedback. Everything here was even more than I expected. My husband and I were here on a short weekend getaway from Louisville with our two dogs. The location couldn't be more convenient, easy off & on I-65 with plenty of things to do in the area if you're so inclined. I-65 with plenty of things to do in the area if you're so inclined. The owner and all employees that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful, especially in getting our TV up and working. It's very obvious how much time and work the owner puts into the beautiful landscaping and he mentioned they are putting in a pool very soon! I would highly recommend this campground. We are already planning to come back again in August!

Great campground. Very helpful staff. The restrooms/showers are the cleanest I have ever visited. Very easy to get to off Hwy. See you folks again in 6 months.
My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at Cave City RV Campground. While the campground itself is very simple, we enjoyed our stay there. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they have a process in place to show campers to their sites and it works great! We traveled with our dog and were very pleased with the dog park. The campground is right off the highway and a fairly busy road but the road noise wasn't bad. There was a train that went through a few times but it wasn't so loud that it was bothersome.
Within walking distance from the campground is a McDonald's, Cracker Barrel, KFC and a few other restaurants. There was also a game place for kids (it wasn't open yet when we were there) as well as a go-cart place (not open yet either, I'm sure due to the time of year).
Mammoth Cave and other attractions are just a short drive away.
We will definitely keep this campground in mind when we travel in the future!

We enjoyed the convenience of this campground to both Mammoth Caves and to the highway. The sites were open and easy to get in and out of. While tucked in off the main drag, the campground was clean and quiet. It poured the entire length of our stay, so we did not use the facilities as much as we have elsewhere, but we would not hesitate to recommend Cave City Campground or to stay here again while in the area.
Nice place to stay! Close to I 75 and real nice folks They took me to the spot and was there if I needed anything! Thanks, Allen
Has nice long, wide sites friendly / helpful staff - had information about local attractions laundry room was small, but everything was clean.
Great campground. Nice level sites. It was off-season so it wasn't crowded. Restroom/showers were spacious and looked very clean. Spent 2 nights.
Great campground. Very clean and easy to maneuver. We stayed on a Friday night when all the area schools were on fall break, so it was good we had a reservation as the CG was full. Site was gravel and fairly level. This park is definitely big-rig friendly. We have a 25 foot class C with towed car (44 ft.) and had a lot of extra room front & rear. All sites are FHU. I am not sure why we were charged an extra $7.00 for 4 people (2 seniors + 2 grandkids 13 & 11) plus an extra $2.00 for booking... Read More

I am not sure why we were charged an extra $7.00 for 4 people (2 seniors + 2 grandkids 13 & 11) plus an extra $2.00 for booking (online, I guess), but we got Good Sam discount. We arrived after office closed at 6:00 and late check-in was easy, also firewood was right there for $4.00. Fire ring was stone, so we were able to cook out hot dogs and smores. CG was far enough from I-65, could barely hear sound from it. There is a railroad line nearby, but it didn't bother us as we live in an approach path for Nashville, TN airport and are used to jets flying over. Everything is close by, restaurants, attractions. Mammoth Cave is about 20 minutes west. One thing I didn't know until check-in: Check-out is 11:00 AM, but additional time can be purchased at $3.00/hour. Since we planned to stay until 4:00 PM Saturday, that would have $15.00 instead of booking for a second night for $40.00.
If we return to Mammoth Cave area, we will definitely stay here again.

Bathrooms are super, super clean and well equipped. Just a short distance to many cave attractions, bourbon distilleries and numerous restaurants. Easy access off I-65 at exit 53. Lengthy list of rules to follow at the campground; but in my opinion, this is the reason everything is so nice. Lots of manicured green space with many beautiful plants and flowers. Pet friendly with lots of places to walk them, including an enclosed dog park. I could go on and on, but you get the point. In the upper echelon of parks I have been to over my many years of RVing.

All sites are pull through and full hook up. There's a small dog park that's fenced in for those with dogs. The place is extra clean and very nice. Would recommend it to anyone.
We stayed in camp site #34. This is a very well kept facility. The bathrooms are really nice and extremely clean. There are train tracks close. You can hear the trains, but it is not terrible. Close to the interstate and close to mammoth cave and all the attractions of the area. We would definitely stay again.
The people here were very friendly and very helpful. We were guided to our site and asked if we needed any help. The park was very clean and well maintained. Didn't use showers or restrooms so cannot comment on them. Will stay there again. Spent one night as we were just passing through.
Nicest place to stay along the I-65 corridor, internet was a bit slow, but functioned well enough for our needs. Everyone was super friendly, and sites were nice and level.
Very friendly park! Big rig friendly!! Excellent dog park! Huge sites, lots of fire pits, flowers all over. Very close to Mammoth Cave and other attractions. Extremely clean bathrooms, campsites, and even dog park! Will come again and again!!
The park is neat and clean and has nice little gardens throughout. It is also nestled between cornfields and has a nice mountain backdrop view. However, we had problems. 1. We had very little water pressure throughout our stay. The staff tried to adjust it, but to no avail. 2. The wifi was very undependable. It would be stronger in the morning, but by afternoon, it was so slow it was not worth even attempting to use. 3. The laundry driers were powered so low that I had to run every load twice.... It was too frustrating to ever deal with again. We will not be back.

Worst experience in 20+ years of camping! I would not recommend. Made reservations in February for 3 families to have sites together. Reservations were confirmed and we were given sites 22,23 and 24. We arrived an hour later without hearing back from the campground. No one was around to assist us so we looked at our sites and saw they were not occupied. Proceeded to set up, with electric, water and sewer. We went to the store and waited along with 4 other people to get in the store when they opened at 10AM. Once it was our turn to check in the woman waiting on us told us that we had different sites and there was no way we could have been told our site #'s. So we debated the facts we had and was told to move our rigs and that she couldn't have sites together. So much for a 5 month in advance reservation to ensure sites together ! In discussion with her she stated that our reservation was made before she was made before she even worked there. She also stated that they reserve he right to move people's reservations but refused to accommodate us by moving others in system! Customer service was very poor to say the least! She stated that she has had enough of me for the day and asked me to leave.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, staff courteous and professional, quiet, easily accessible to interstate, and peaceful. We had a class C motor home and had plenty of room. Spaces available in June and very close to Mammoth Cave. We would definitely camp here again.
What to say? Five stars! We stopped for an overnighter exhausted from the road the end of May 2016 and stayed another day. Very clean restrooms! Hostess' very friendly, and knowledgeable! Very clean and roomy sites. Large dog area, fenced and very clean!
Great park with large pull-thrus. It was very clean and nicely landscaped. The WIFI was very strong even though we were on one end of the park. Cable TV was nice. Easy to find and close to many attractions. Management was very friendly. Didn't check out the restrooms so no rating on that. Overall a very pleasant two days spent.
We stayed two nights and enjoyed the facilities on site. We played most of our time in Bowling Green. Did not notice trains, because we ran fan. Friendly staff and wonderful pull thru sites. Make sure to make pre purchase on Mammoth Cave visit or you won't get in. Would stay here again!
I loved it here. Extended an extra night. $35 per night included cable, WiFi, 3 hot private shower stalls, 3 toilet stalls for women & a clean laundry room $1.50 per machine or dryer. Beautifully manicured grounds and plantings; this is a relatively new park with young trees so not very private sites yet. The facilities buildings are new, fresh with molding finishes & automatic lighting. Restrooms are closed for cleaning from 11-12noon everyday.
Very nice park, clean, well laid out, helpful staff...BUT it is right next to a BUSY RR track. At least 5 trains came through that might making it impossible to get a restful sleep. Loved the park but would not stay there again.
Nice campground...LEVEL!!! Owner was very attentive and helpful.. We will return!
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The campground is well maintained and is one of the better looking parks we've stayed in. Roads and parking spots are gravel but not muddy. There are several trains a day but we ran a fan all night and didn't hear any of them. There are plenty of places to eat close by and lots of attractions in the area, namely Mammoth Cave Park. If you like to walk, there is a track about 1/4 mile away and lots of trails at the park. There was a problem with the WIFI... Read More

Once it was fixed, it worked pretty well. The closest Walmart is in Glasgow, about 8 miles away. We enjoyed our stay and will use the park again since we have family in the area.

This was an excellent campground. Retired railroader and lived near trains all our lives so they did not bother us. We were at the upper end away from the tracks. Facility was in excellent condition, exceptionally clean and well deserving of its rating. Owners were extremely helpful and accommodating for all our questions. We would stay here again
DO NOT GO TO THIS CAMPGROUND IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP!!!! There is a railroad track IMMEDIATELY next to the grounds. Several (5 to 8) trains went by during the night and all blew their whistles. Everything else, however, was positive. I just can't see why someone would build a campground next to railroad track.
We stayed 3 nights to see the area. The park has easy access to & from Interstate 66 (Exit 53). It is located in town but town didn't offer a lot of services considering the attractions in the area. But there are some larger retailers located in Glasgow which is a short drive along a good state highway. The only negative was the railroad tracks located on the West side of the park. They were close enough to disrupt sleep and were very active at all hours. This was one of the better parks... Read More

This was one of the better parks we came across during our travels in OH, PA, MD, IN, & NJ. The park was well cared for and landscaped. It offered online reservations.
The interior roads and site parking pads are gravel. This park understands the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level parking pad! All of the sites appeared generally level. Privacy between the sites is established by distance. The sites had sufficient space so you didn't feel that you were on top of your neighbor. The pull through sites were long enough for coaches and their toads attached. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. There was an outside table. Fire pits were shared between sites. There was an escort to your site. Surprisingly, the ground drained very well as there wasn't much standing water after a day of rain.
There were very few trees to obstruct satellite reception. There was an adequate choice of cable channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.
The provided WiFi was adequate. Our NET10 phone reception was acceptable.
There was a nice designated fenced pet area of sufficient size for both large & small dogs. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads. There were bag dispensers and cans to collect waste.
For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. No structure was identified as a severe weather shelter.
Would stay here again if we returned to visit the area attractions.

A very nice very clean and very well laid out campground with easy access from the interstate and close to Mammoth Cave National Park. Campground was spotless and staff was extremely helpful. We had a pet emergency and they could not have been more supportive in making sure we got to a good vet for care. They have a very nice clubhouse and we would definitely stay there again.
Very nice RV park. Walking distance to restaurants.
Cave Country RV is a first class operation. The staff are extremely friendly. The bathrooms impeccable. All the sites were pull through and level. A staff member escorted us to our site. Would most certainly stay again.
Very nice park. Easy access from I65. All sites are pull through with a lot of room between sites. Internet was good, something most parks are lacking in. Streets are gravel but that is not a problem as they are well maintained. I did not use the bathrooms so I can't comment on them but if they are in as good shape as everything else, I would say they would be great. I stayed there on the way to Nashville and then again on the trip home. I wish all parks are this nice.
Great location with easy access to Mammoth Caves and all the other parks in area. Clean and well maintained. They even allow you to pay for a day when you wash your rig in the park. Nice benefit.
Easy in and out but follow the Good Sam instructions. GPS has you make tight turns. Great pull through site with full hookups. The cable TV and WiFi a bonus and included with the cost. Plenty of Photo ops around, so bring your camera. Staff and owner very friendly and courteous, very knowledgeable of area to advise where to go and what to see. Very close to attractions for all ages. Will definitely will stay again.
We stayed two nights at this park, so we could finally visit Mammoth Cave National Park. We found the park well maintained with friendly park hosts. Our cocker enjoyed the dog park where she could run off leash. The pull through sites are gravel, but well maintained. We would stay here again.
this campground is just beautiful !! wonderful landscaping, nice staff and nestled in a beautiful setting. having the dog park was wonderful . very nice and convenient to different caves for sightseeing. restaurants were nearby also. we would definitely go there again.
Great campground. All site are pull-thrus. Easy in and out. Pet friendly. We used the Dog Park quite often. Restrooms and sites are very clean. Friendly staff. A lot of cave tours and antique shops in the area. Within walking distance of Cracker Barrel.
