When we called they said they had nothing available, but called us back and said they had a pull through site available. We were happy, but they neglected to tell us the sites were on a hill, not at all level, and very the ground was wet and very soft. When we tried to move forward we just sunk in the mud, and no matter what we tried nothing worked so had to call the Good Sam Club to get us out. One nite stopover. This park obviously caters to permanent trailer residents. The showers were filthy, the womens rest room had no running water or TP. The campground charged the credit card upon making the reservation and could not get the Good Sams discount upon arrival. The grounds are pretty but the sites not level and under trees so no satellite. Pull throughs are barely that. Way overpriced at $55. Would advise travelers to pass this one by.
Campground is convenient to the interstate and the manager was chatty and engaging. Sites are a little rustic. Restrooms are below average. The area is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but there is a good little diner that is pretty rustic with good down-home type food near the interstate. The campground is overpriced for what it is. This was the highest priced site we hit on the trip from the northeast to FL.
Called ahead to reserve a site on our way home from Orlando. We asked when the office would close as we were not sure when we would arrive & it was race weekend in nearby Charlotte. The owner told us 6 pm so we paid in advance to hold the spot. As it turned out hurricane Matthew interfered & we had to cut our vacation short. I called & once again the owner was so nice. Told us when we came to just pull in & pick a spot. This campground is very convenient to route 77, gas, & a cute little local restaurant,... Read More

Stayed here over night while en route north. However I would definitely stay longer in the future. We had a pull thru that was level with good hook ups. This is a very quiet, clean campground with a beautiful view. Would highly recommend it.
