WOW what a surprise to discover that charming campground in the middle of a beautifull country.The lady at front desk was very pleasant.Too bad we could not stay for more than one night.Clean washroom and with a nice park for thedog.

Our trip was about a month long and consisted of stops across country from Tennessee and in Wyoming and Utah. That was by far the most beautiful campground that we found along the way. This was our third time to stay at Longhorn and we will return. This is by far the nicest campground we have ever stayed at - lots of huge cottonwood shade trees around all of the sites. The sites are not not situated so close together that you are just uncomfortable. Each one has its own space and green area. ' The staff is always extremely helpful and nice. They have the best private room bathrooms. Great place to stay.

We loved this RV park. It was early in the season so it was very quiet in the park. The restrooms were awesome! What I observed about the campground was the larger flat lots with many older cottonwoods to provide shade during the warmer months. We would stay there again without a doubt.

We stayed in the RV section in our 40 foot 5th wheel. Our daughter & family had a lodge room. This was just a 1 night stay prior to entering the national parks. The playground was OK but a bit small if more of the sites & rooms had kids. There were horseshoe pits which my husband & 8 yr old grandson enjoyed. We stayed in the RV section in our 40 foot 5th wheel. Our daughter & family had a lodge room. This was just a 1 night stay prior to entering the national parks. The playground was OK but a bit small if more of the sites & rooms had kids. There were horseshoe pits which my husband & 8 yr old grandson enjoyed. The lodge rooms were decent size with 2 beds & still plenty of room for the 2 pack'n'plays for the twin 1 year olds. There was a small frig & microwave. Bathroom was nice size for family use. The beds were noisy but comfortable enough. A continental breakfast came with a room (but not an RV site). The breakfast was very rudimentary. The RV sites can handle big rigs with ease. Where normally we are in one of the biggest available, here we did not even qualify for their "big rig" sites. Bathroom/showers were nice. We were in #7 & did not need to do any leveling,My husband wished that the sewer hookup was towards the middle of the site instead of clear to one end. We would stay again.

We had site 3, very large and backs up to a grassy area and pond with tent sites directly behind us. My parents on the otherhand were in #5, which apparently is a combination of 2 sites 4 and 5, they were not told this, but after parking and seeing that the 2 share a driveway and the folks in 4 would almost be camping on my parents doorstep, my dad verified with the guy at the office that night, was told "they never rent that space". Good, that would be very uncomfortable. While backing in, the managers or owners or camp hosts black lab came running towards us unleashed while we were getting our dogs in our camper (leashed), we have a rescue that is afraid of other dogs and this obviously sent him over the edge....so that was great! The folks in site 1 (camp hosts I believe) called "black dog" over to their site. So, the leash rule doesn't apply to them I guess....he may be a very nice dog...doesn't mean every other dog is! Then we are informed there is a family reunion there this weekend, ok. That's when the real fun started. They start showing up, kids running everywhere, unsupervised, adults and children walking UNDER my parents fifth wheel and between it and the truck, some running around with sticks shoving them down rotting out stumps (of which there are MANY!!! my husband actually fell in the one right next to where we had to park our tow vehicle), and the one that the kids ran up next to my truck and we're banging up against it with the stick....I gave then a gentle reminder this wasn't ok. For 2 nights we tolerated this with adults and children basically walking up on our rugs, under our campers, all around very disrespectful, which led to more reminders. Then as we are eating at the picnic table, a car pulls right up to the table, in site 4 "the never rented space". I talked to the lady in the office and explained all the other problems, she came and moved the people to a more comfortable space for them and said she would talk to the manager. Next day, more shenanigans. ...just more kids and more BS and uncontrolled children and adults. As I was talking to more kids, my husband was very upset and addressed this with the gal in the office....finally the owner, I believe came to talk to us. He did listen and go talk to the leaders of the reunion and agreed that site 4 should not be rented out and said it wouldn't happen again, and also WITNESSED some kids walk under my parents camper and between it and the truck, clearly not their space!! Sitting at our site for dinner, the camp hosts and other staff were at site 1, their border collie was running off leash to the pond to swim and then back to their site and the grassy area. My very well behaved dog ran around only our site and behind the camper for approximately 3 minutes playing with a pot holder, the gal at site 1 started yelling that my dog should be on a leash.... ok ok....come on. I get it, but practice what you preach!!! If not everyone follows the rules this is what happens....set an example then!!!!! Next day we go to the tetons, come back 3 hours later, another person camping on my parents rug.....at this point, it's clear they are running this place for the cash, not the camping experience. The double standards and BS fed to us and witnessed leads to these reviews. Just FYI, this reunion is apparently a yearly thing, so unless you want strangers in your space and kids possibly damaging your vehicles and taunting your pets, verify this before you go!!! And watch out for those very dangerous holes in the ground and the rotting stumps. ...huge liability and they clearly don't care. Very disappointing for what should've been a relaxing weekend!,There are other places to stay for a better price and experience.

No pool but not a show stopper. Second year visit, use as a Base Camp for Teton and Yellowstone. Not that far out, on the way to basecamp saw a Grizz on the side of the road. Will return next year, these folk's are truly family and great to visit with. The town of Dubois is worth a day or Two of exploration it self. No listing for our camper, please add " TEARDROP" to the list.

Stayed for a week. Very quiet and peaceful.Nice wooded areas near river. Had a large longitudinal site along the Riverside. Ample space. No swimming pool, very good wifi reception. A real place for rest. Staff very pleasant and accomodating. Pittoreque village of Dubois and services nearby. Mountain climate(7000ft).
