I made and paid for a reservation with this RV park months ago. There is a 2-day minimum, so I reserved a pull-thru site for a Thursday through Sunday (3 nights). I called on that Wednesday morning (more than 24 hours in advance) to tell them that I would be unable to use my site for Thursday night. The woman who answered said I was too late to cancel and would not get a refund. I said that was fine, that I would eat that cost, but would still be there for Friday and Saturday night. She confirmed... Read More

The woman who answered said I was too late to cancel and would not get a refund. I said that was fine, that I would eat that cost, but would still be there for Friday and Saturday night. She confirmed this with me.
When I arrived on Friday, however, my site had been booked for someone else for Saturday night. She said she was allowed to sell that site because I had "no-showed." When I pointed out that I had called on Wednesday, she got really frustrated and tried to lie, saying that I hadn't called. She even threw her little notebook at me! I was shocked. When I politely pointed out that she had booked my site even though I had paid for it months ago, she got even angrier. After a few minutes, she eventually remembered our conversation, but when I (very calmly) asked her what she was going to do about my Saturday night, she threatened to throw me out of the park! *IT WAS SURREAL.* She was quite volatile, but I managed to calm her down. On her own, she decided to give me a refund for Thursday and Saturday night, so that I only paid for Friday night. I was still one night short, and with it being the beach on a hot July weekend, I was HOMELESS. She said she wouldn't help me with that. She angrily said that I could stay that one night and leave or just leave. I chose to stay that one night because, otherwise, I would've been homeless for two nights.
I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS CAMPGROUND. There are plenty of rules here, but no one enforces them. Lots of smokers out and about this non-smoking campground. Lots of screaming and yelling and revving of engines way far into the night. It's not even close to a beach. I was glad to leave.

People in the park were friendly. Maintenance of roads, RV spots minimal, some spots the gravel has disappeared due to grass wed growth. Many full timers, a few of the trailers, motor homes have been there for a long time. Yurts appear to be their main concern and they are adding more, eliminating the tent sites. They advertise Cable, Yes the sites do have a cable hook up, But the Spectrum Charter "Box" they provide did not work. Disclaimer is the cable is free so if the Box does not work not their... Wifi system was marginal, very old repeaters mounted at both ends of the park. A newer system would resolve the problem.
During our stay was not sure if there was a Host or just the one attendant in the office.
Road noise from HWY 101 never stopped all night, the park is between a busy road and the HWY.
The positive here is the other parks near-by were full of full timers, closely packed together sites and again right next to HWY 101.
There are lots of places to see, and tour in the area... too bad the RV Parks are not better maintained.
They only give a discount for Good Sam, No discount for Retired Military or Veterans.

We discovered this park early in the summer, when we tried to reserve something and most everything in the area was booked, TBC had one site left. The sites were very level and nice with groomed grass and easy access hookups. The park and facilities were clean and in good shape. The staff were very nice, and helpful. In fact, when we arrived after hours and someone had set up their rig in the spot that we had reserved and paid for, and was reluctant to move, we got hold of the manager. The... Read More

In fact, when we arrived after hours and someone had set up their rig in the spot that we had reserved and paid for, and was reluctant to move, we got hold of the manager. The manager showed up within 10 minutes and made the guy move. I felt kinda bad for the guy. The park could have saved everyone some trouble if they'd put a "reserved" sign on the site, but they didn't. Folks are supposed to register in the office, and they have a big map that shows which sites are available. This guy didn't check the map, he just dropped his money in the slot and grabbed the only empty site left. Anyway, this park is about halfway between Tillamook and Garibaldi, so whether you want to fish or eat cheese, or both, you're just a few minutes away. There is also a nice park and walking trail system just across the highway. We've added this park to our "favorites". We try to get there before the office closes...

We got engaged the day before, of course a huge surprise. Rented a yurt for one night but decided on 2 nights and they were able to get us in. I have to say they are amazing. And even if we didn't get engaged that wkend it's a great place. Hotttt showers, clean bathrooms and the yurt was to die for. I'll definitely be back next year. Thank you for the experience
Nice park just off 101...so, you hear lots of traffic noise. The owner is very helpful and is always in the park. Landscaping is very nice. Just outside of Tillamook so you don't get the dairy smells that we noticed in Tillamook and around other RV parks in the area. Site is gravel with grass, level. Nice dog park area in back but you can't put off leash as there is no gate. Great nature preserve just a mile or so up 101. Several deer visited the park while we were there. We would definitely... Easy to check in. Wide, nice sites. Close to all areas of the Oregon coast we wanted to see. Busy place, but we'll run and cared for. We'll use again, if up in the area.
We stayed 5 nights in a 42-foot Class-A with our Towed vehicle. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our gravel pad was fairly level and we were able to use our slides. The park was full the entire time we were there. We did not use park facilities (restrooms or laundry). Good cable-although a bit cumbersome to hook up. Good wi-fi. It had a bit of HWY 101 noise.
What a great place to stay. Very quiet and clean. The manager we super helpful in letting us know what was in the area to see and things to do. I will definitely return here.
Great location for this park close to the coastal cities and also the sites in Tillamook. Sites and roads are gravel with a small grass area for most. The park offers bathrooms, shower and laundry along with working wifi.
Good park for a couple night stay. The roads and sites are gravel and dusty, but each site has grass and a table. Very quiet, other than some road noise. The restrooms were clean and modern - well maintained. The staff was great.
Note: I rate 3 stars as average/adequate. This was a last-minute choice as it is a few miles north of Tillamook. The location is right next to Hwy 101 and you do hear some traffic noise, and some sites back up on the highway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gravel streets and sites with lots of speed bumps (why??). Toilet rooms and shower rooms separate. Coin operated showers (again, why??). Wife didn't pay attention to shower light timer and was caught in the dark for a while. Otherwise, decent... Read More

A good-enough stop.
Recommend? Yes.
